Default Looking for a 2nd or 3rd Gen IS350

Lease is coming up on my Audi S3 and it's time to keep a car long term. So thought I'd get a used Lexus for luxury and reliability. Shopping around for a 2nd or 3rd Gen is350. Is there any years I need to avoid on the 2nd Gen IS350 or should I just get a 3rd Gen?

Honestly, the 2IS is a solid used car no matter the model year; just as long as you go with an IS350. If going with an IS250, you might encounter carbon build-up issues.

So any year 2006-09 IS350 won't have any known bugs that were fixed on 2010-13 years?

Only thing I can think of are better OEM water pumps. The early years, mine included, had water pumps that leaked quite early in their life. Mine started at 21k miles.

I don't want to jinx myself, but the original water pump in my '06 IS350 is still going strong with over 150k miles.
