Default Sticky 5th Gear

Hi Guys,

So when I'm cruising around 40mph and let off the gas it seems like the car has remains in 5th gear until it drops to 800 RPM then makes an abrupt downshift. Has anyone else experienced this?

What tranny do you have? What mode are you experiencing this in?

I have the Automatic. Only happens in normal and eco mode. In sport it stays in the higher rpm range

Which automatic? I see you have a 350 F Sport - is it the AWD or RWD model? The AWD comes with a 6-speed, and RWD models get 8-speeds.

I guess your gearbox thinks that this is what you want it to do.
Re-teach it - use the shift paddles and change the gears down yourself. Repeat that process and after some time the gearbox will understand and start doing the same.
