I'm pretty sure the Lexus Fuel system cleaner is outsourced from a major company. I'll have to look through my notes.

Yes I am worried about carbon build up.

In Singapore, you need to renew car "lease" every 10 years. So far, with 5 years of ownership, the car has been amazing. I am thinking of keeping it for a long time but am prepared to do preventive maintenance.

Hence, Techron came to mind

fuel Additive injector fuel injector cleaneretc. works the same way, i recommended you with Lexus because our car is Lexus buy from the maker is much better, IS250 is Direct injection Engine without Ports, Port/DI only available on the 3.5L Lexus therefore fuel does not spray on the intake valve, you know Additive only cleans the Injectors right ? they do reduce Carbon but slightly, thats why i recommend people use "Oil Catch Can" and Top tiers gas and do "Italian Tune" twice a year at least, (Italian tunes is what i told you in the previous post above) i have owned an IS250 before never had Carbon Buildup issue by doing these (learnt this from BMW drivers) check out this video Jenny

i can't find my original Thread that i INSTALLED Oil Catch Can on 3rd Gen Lexus last year so read this one, it similar https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...xperiment.html and here the Video
You need to buy a good one like

Mishimoto Baffled Oil Catch Can, you can Google Mishimoto and check it out, but remember , buy Mishimoto oil catch can with BAFFLED

Jenny, IS250 year 2012+ has updated internal engine parts like camshaft valve spring piston ring etc. Don't worry about Much on Carbon Build up, just Enjoy your Cute IS250 , girl on Gen3 IS looks even hotter, follow my suggestion the car last forever, Do Lexus dealer in your country offer "Synthetic Engine oil" ? Mobil 1 Synthetic is the key ! if not Castrol and Motul.
