Fsport License plate bracket from The Lexus Collection
This expensive accessory has been discussed before, but I had some specific questions before investing in this.
I assume there is no exposed steel that would rub against the paint?
It appears that there are no screws for the bottom two license plate holes?
Is the bottom of the plate held by "backside plate locking tabs" as described?
I am guessing there is sufficient protection to prevent the bottom tabs/screws from damaging the paint?
Here is the description:
"Genuine carbon fiber composite F-SPORT nameplate. 304 stainless steel frame does not rust or tarnish and is finished in our beautiful black pearl finish. Finish is extremely durable and resists scratching and fading. Sport graphics and carbon fiber are sealed under special high gloss UV resistant polyurethane doming enhancing the carbon fiber weave. Includes patented hardware hider caps to conceal and protect exposed screws and backside plate locking tabs."

Count that 20-30 minutes as your "me" time with your great IS F-Sport. Worth the cost already.

Sometimes I wish I got the 350 to make it even more fun. But, the deal on the IS300 was incredible and for 80% local driving its fine.
Back to topic.....my dealer is great, but with accessories it is usually a process. Finding if they have accessories in stock is a chore.....
trunk mat, no...touchup paint, no.

Right......as some said....something like the "mileage is bad", but the "smile-age is good".

We have been together a long, long, long time. Maybe I should have said that I consulted her, and she thought
it was not too frivolous. She knows how much I enjoy my vehicles. She has been through five
cars with me. Anyway I will report back on the frame when I get it.
