Default Quick Release Front Lip

Hey guys, so I've always been searching for an idea like this in the forums and never really found any write ups so i decided to create this one. I've always had bad luck with using self tapping screws to hold on a lip so i switched to the nut and bolt method but it's a pain taking off these bumpers just to remove a lip. So I went down to Harbor Freight and picked up a Threaded Inserter Rivet kit so that I could just thread the front lip to that.
Threaded Insert Rivet Kit from Harbor Freight for about $20
I used the 1/4th insert and lined it up directly with the mounting holes for my Seibon Carbon Fiber front lip and riveted them into the bottom of the bumper.
1/4th threaded rivets into the bumper
Then all that was left was to just simply screw in my lip using bolts and washers.


Bolted on and added washers
Mounted on within 5 minutes

And simple as that, my lip is bolted on and it is super simple to remove (in case you need to get your car serviced or, like me, had issues getting onto an alignment rack). It's super sturdy and really quick to take off and put back on so I hope this helps anyone else that constantly takes off their lips! Where you order the front lip, it look so good. it look like the a seibon front lip but doesn't look like carbon fiber.

Looks like the seibon front lip to me. Maybe just painted over

It is the seibon FP style front lip unpainted and I bought it preowned locally, I guess my phone camera didnt pick up the weave very well.
