@Andeeo11 I'll echo what other members have said - have you tried other gas stations? If you have this problem everywhere, then I'd say it's a problem with the car. Here, it seems that members have problems with specific gas stations, especially Costco.

I would also recommend you seek legal advice. Maybe your employer has an Employee Assistance Program or something of that nature, so you won't have to pay out of pocket for consultation.

edit: And, I'll also say Lexus messed something up with the IS's fuel tank, that I can agree on. Otherwise, we wouldn't have this thread. You're not the first nor will you be the last to complain about it.

Thank you for your reply and suggestion. And I have written to Lexus Corp and am currently in communication with them as well as the dealer who sold me the car AND THEN SOME!

My purpose for sharing my experience on this site is to simply make other Lexus owners or potential buyers aware of this. That its not just their IS-300 doing this.
My husband is wanting me to see if Lexus will swap out the IS300 for a different maybe bigger car like the ES 350. But then I see the 350 is ALSO on the LIST OF RECALLS. So maybe I'm not meant to be a happy satisfied Lexus owner.
