An alignment doesn't hurt either when you buy a new set of tires, but to swap to winters, no need to worry unless you notice something is noticeably off.
You do need to initialize the Tire Pressure Monitors or the light will stay on all winter.
We swapped them this weekend and I reprogrammed the tpms and reset the light. Last year I got an alignment after putting new tires on my OEM rims, I just wasn't sure if I needed to align it each time.

Thanks, all.
Is there a DIY way to program that TPMS light to come off, or does that have to be done by a stealership?
TPMS will turn on and off sometimes on it's own if all the tires are even and at the level you reset the sensor at. It's sort of got a mind of it's own.
In between summer/winter a few times I'd come out in the morning and the light would be on (30psi) as i drove and the tires warmed up the light would go back off.
As for winter tires, I adjusted my suspension about an inch up and swapped winter tires onto the F-sport rims. Alignment was 100% needed but only due to the suspension modifications.
I have an ateq quickset as well. Seems to work pretty good, but I also have a autel ts508 tpms tool to scan and program if needed. I like fancy gadgets though haha
