Lexus gets the buyers who want that, but don't want to deal with the potential cost of ownership. I mean most of us here just do the regular routine maintenance and keep driving. That's who lexus is targeting, but man would it be nice if they made cars that could keep up with the germans. The GS-F is probably the car I want the most, that much power paired with reliability sounds pretty nice!

I much prefer the look of my 2014 non-F. No more dual headlights? No more fog lights? Lame! Since I don't have nav, the bigger screen is of no use to me.

News if anyone is curious: New IS 2018 will have a facelift like the 2018 LS460.
and also Asia spec front headlights are different than NorthAmerican Spec.

Boy how that is awesome news - here I was wishing that they would do a facelift in the 2017 model.

Dude, seriously?

The thing that hurts the most is the engine change. A 2.0T engine that produces a bunch of power and more fuel effienct than a 250. The face lift was a little more sporty either the added scoops and mesh. It didn't brother me too much. I know the rear bumper trim and exhaust tips made the whole car look ugly from the rear. I know the 17 uses the body damper technogly but I don't care too much. And for 10k more than a is250 I really didn't care at all. But I have seen some 17 is lowered and it look pretty cool going head on from the opposite side of the road.

I REALLY like the option of getting a LSD. I like the updates to the interior. If they finally made the entertainment system not a laggy piece of crap then i'm happy. Inputting an address into the nav is still basically unusable. I still don't like the whole joystick/track pad thing but it would be unrealistic to think lexus would change that out in a MMC, and it seems like they are doubling down on it on all of their vehicles. the media system is the absolute worst part of owning this vehicle or any modern lexus.

Exterior is fine. I prefer the 14-16 because you can get fog lights, but it doesn't move me either way.

I don't like the headlight bubbles either in the 2014-2016. I much prefer the straighter headlight design in the 2017. I still wish the US got the triple LED headlights like in overseas models. One thing I don't like about 2017 is the amber color lenses in the rear taillights though.

Agreed, I think I'd prefer the new taillights if it weren't for the amber lenses. Otherwise I like em.

I like having the round exhaust tips on the pre-facelift models as well.
