Default Lightweight and stylish rims

What's up folks. I am looking for lightweight/stylish rims for my black 2014 IS 350 F-Sport. The stock rim weight is 28.2lbs for the rear, and 28lbs for the fronts. I am looking to significantly reduce that number (hopefully 10lbs per rim). What suggestions do ya'll have?

I've looked at Work, VMR, XXR, Volk etc. What thoughts do you guys have?

TBH any of the volk racing rims will give you big weight savings.. when I was looking for wheels, I've searched many makes and models. None of the other forged lines comes close to how light the volks wheels are for the size.

my 19 x 8.5 G27s are 20 lbs a wheel. pair that with some lighter tires you can get big performance gains not just in speed, but in handling, braking, fuel economy as well.

the key is buying only what you need... wider is not better (most people don't get that)

Those are clean as hell, how much did they cost? Did you stick to the stock off-sets?

i went with +45 front and back with 245 tires (long story), but will be switching to 255 next summer.

I have some pictures on my built thread to show how they look.

the fronts are sitting exactly how i like, but the backs are a bit sunken in.. the intention was to leave room for some camber correction.

Wondering what specs are you looking for?

I'm in the same position as you. Looking to get a square setup with 19 x 8.5 +35.

Honestly if your primary concern is WEIGHT, then you want to focus on forged rims. They provide the light weight and strength to go with it, unless of course you wipe your *** with money, then you can go with a carbon fibre rim.

I'd also consider HRE, or Vossen.

IMO most rim manufacturers make very similar rims in terms of style, so it is hard to find something that is really different from the next guy.

I am struggling with this more than style and mfg. Not sure if I want to go up one inch or keep the same and then width and the offset

Lol at your *** wiping comment. If that were the case, the IS would purely be a daily and I'd have a few Ferraris in the garage haha.

I've came across HRE and that's a bit over my budget by about 6K haha. Same with forged Vossen rims.

I'm rocking a set of RPF1 and I love em. One of the lightest wheels on the market.

18x9.5+30 ~17.8 lb
18x10+38 ~18.9 lb

Man your build is clean and pretty damn inspiring. I love the subtleties that you've installed across the car. What do you mean by sunken in? Also, I work for Enbridge haha. One of our main offices is in Edmonton.
