2017 OEM tailpipes uneven
Hi everyone.
not sure if it was like this previously, but you can see from the picture below that the right exhaust tip is noticeable lower than the left. I did manage to lightly bottom out the left side exhaust end going up a steep driveway because I hit the gas too soon after clearing the front while turning right. Didn't even think it was possible le. All I heard was a light scrape noise and the saw a little scuff where the tip gasket connects to the muffler.
Is is it possible I messed up the alignment? I also see that the long pipes further down towards the middle of the car is positioned differently where the rubber band supports are. Not sure if this is normal.
I played around with both of the rubber band supports at the exhaust tip but it hasn't helped.
The odd thing is that the left exhaust tip looks like it's seated nicely whereas the unaffected right tip seems too low.
Any advice is appreciated!!!

I know its new car and you want everything to be as new, but the exhuast tips level difference is really not noticeable. I noticed it because you pointed out, otherwise I wouldn't know. You could little force the exhaust to the required position if it bothers you, but you have to watch out to avoid breaking the bands.

you can check and see if one of the tips was installed slightly tilted down
my 2016 which had oval tips had one of them slightly rotated, I just tapped and twisted it back straight.

Just an update. After reading up on people having similar issues, a well concurred solution is use of zip ties. Are used for, two for each exhaust behind the rubber band hangers. They look much better now. I forgot to take pictures earlier I know it is dark out so I will take pictures tomorrow and post. Thank you.
