Replacing IS 250 brakes
Hi, I have an IS 250 aut 2008. I love the car but it has a problem with brakes. They are just not up to the job. I was thinking of replacing them with the ones for the 350 because the 350 has 4 piston caliper against the 2 piston cal. for the 250. The question is, is the replacement a bolt of bolt on proces or will I need an adapter bracket?
Thanks,
Iztok

Welcome cerobol! Unfortunately you are in the 3IS forum (2014+ IS).
However, to quickly answer your question, yes it would be a bolt on process.
To keep things simple, order the front caliper, rotor, pads, pin, and anti-rattle clip (per side) that would be found on a 2008 IS350.
If your IS is RWD or AWD, be sure to order the corresponding 350 rotor (RWD or AWD).
The 250 front has a caliper and caliper bracket, on the 350 the caliper has the bracket essentially built into the caliper...it's all one piece.
I would recommend changing the backing plates as well.
