Default Back Bumper Options

Hi all, I have a question regarding the back bumper on my fiance's 06' IS-250. She had someone bump into the back of her the other day which left a few smallo scrapes in the plastic of the lower back bumper. What I'm wondering is if there are any other back bumper options from newer IS's that will fit her 06? If so what our your opinions on the looks of them as opposed to the 06'. Thank you.

Not at this moment. Is there anyone who can answer the original question?

You can do a couple things. 1) replace the stock bumper with an 09' or newer rear bumper. It has a faint raised line in the center of the bumper. Brociouz did it on his 06'. The other option is based on how low the damage is. You can get a GFX rear lip or the Ings rear lower lip goes the highest( right under reflectors) if you want to go the lip kit route. Hope this helps.

Someone rear-ended my '06 so I had it replaced with the '09+ rear bumper. The changes are extremely subtle, but include a thin strip of matte black at the bottom for the diffuser effect, and the bottom of the rear reflectors are connected by a crease unlike before. The only other full bumper replacement I'm aware of is the Job Design kit, but it's extremely... aggressive. And then of course there are lip kits.

Thanks for the replies! I'm glad the 09' will line up without any issues. The damage is mainly above the left reflector in the lower bumper (will try to get pics up soon). Because we won't be paying for it, the car will be going to the dealership for the repairs. Should I be able to tell them that I want the 09' instead of the 06' rear? If so am I looking at any different costs?

There is of course the rare Element 114 rear bumper that has the rear reflectors removed but is discontinued. You should be able to tell the dealer you want the 09' bumper skin.

It depends. I had to pay a little extra on top because my insurance would only pay to repair my '06 bumper (because the damage was not that bad), not replace it. It was only $200 out of pocket so I went for it.
