Default Anyone know the bulbtype numbers new 2017 Lexus IS

HI Fellowmembers,

I just placed an order my my new European Lexus IS 300h (hybrid) which is coming in december 2017. I guess the bulb types will be similar like the 2017 Lexus IS in the US. Now I'm looking for the bulb types to swap all lights into leds. Can you please help me with the bulb types for:
- dome lights
- map lights
- vanity lights
- trunk/cargo light
- puddle lights (or are these already leds in the new 2017 IS ?)
- door lights

I have asked my Lexus dealer but they still have to get back to me. Where would you advise to buy the leds. Is Vleds good or should I just buy from ebay?

Regards & many thanks,
MrNX

Welcome MrNX!

I would try contacting these folks and see if they have a set for your hybrid (they have for regular IS): https://www.precisionled.com/shop-by...4-present-6399
The answer to many, if not all, of the bulbs on your list will likely be in the owners manual...which I realize you don't have yet as you're waiting for the car.
Perhaps if the dealer has a hybrid in stock you can look in the owners manual...or check online in your country to see if Lexus posts the manual on their website like they do in Canada and US.

I would think the 2017 has the same bulbs as the 2014-2016, which would mean that everyone on your list is not an LED from factory.
However, the hybrid may be different as it may come with some of them as LEDs as a voltage saving measure on the hybrid.

I have replaced all but the puddle lights on my 17. The book says theyre different but pretty much any t10 led bulb from amazon will fit. Go for the normal sized ones as the trunk, and door light housings are fairly small. Only bulb I can not say with 100% certainty is the puddle lights in the mirrors.
