Default Marks on GPS screen.

I have a 2015 Lexus NX 200t. I had a lot of smudges and marks on the GPS screen, so I used an eye glass cleaner to clean it. Big mistake. I now have marks all over it especially along the edges. How do I get rid of them? Will I have to purchase a new screen?

1st mistake, Eye Glass Cleaner....

If you're trying to get rid of some residue from the cleaner, try luke warm water with a microfiber cloth, and take a pic of what you're talking about.

Generally, I do NOT use ANY chemicals or even water to clean my GPS screen or my Instrument Panel. I just dust it off with a microfiber.

Another option is compressed air (typically used for computers and available at something like Office Max).

Also, fyi, this might be better to have in the NX forums, not the IS forums.

Wrong forum...

Also, I believe its the layer you can remove from the screen if you damaged it on the IS, don't know about the NX.

Take the car to Lexus to get the lens cover replaced if vehicle is still within warranty, there is a TSB about this anti-glare film coating issue and it should apply to NX as well.
