Default Ignition Coil

2015 IS 350 F Sport has 9,000 miles and check engine light came on after just being serviced at Lexus dealership 500 miles ago. Code says cylinder 1 ignition coil is bad. What could cause an ignition coil to fail after only 9,000 miles. Car is always garaged so can't be moisture.

Could be a spark plug or coil. Anything can fail at any time. Nothing is promised. Just get it fixed under warranty.

It ended up being just a bad spark plug.
