Default Height issue

New guy here with a problem after accident. Got the car back and it's a drag car now for some odd reason. It seems like 3 inches higher. What can be the problem? The damage was to the rear and they replaced and fixed a lot. And the springs has a slight bend. Is that normal?

Jeez, looks like they put a lift kit on it haha if I remember my stock height I had about a 3/4 finger gap between wheel and fenders. Yours looks like a arm haha definitely have a shop or your local Lexus dealer take a look at it.. or better yet; buy air Suspension

Um...yeah...so you're next stop is back to that body shop...right? Cause that definitely does not look right.
Since the springs control the ride height, either they installed the wrong springs (if they were replaced), or something is wrong with the way the spring are sitting...or the spring perches are damaged/bent in some way.
Honestly, I wouldn't even drive it anywhere other than back to the body shop and have them look at it asap.
I'm stunned they would even think about giving back to you looking like that.

I'm not use to the back higher. It's usually the front of the cars that is higher based on the fenders for turning purposes. My issue is that the freakin shop has no idea what is wrong. And my insurance company is not trying to pay Lexus to do a diagnostic becuase apparently to the insurance company and the shop, everything is installed correctly and that i should be on my merry way.

The left rear was the damaged side. And the right side in the back is completely the same whcih doesnt make sense since they only repaired the left rear.

One thing that i thought was the culprit was the rear crossmember but that was meassured out to be the same exact one that was on the car previously. My car was not at that height before. No mods at all. SOOO ANNOYINGGGG!!!

Something I would make sure the spring is seated properly like what Sasnuke mentioned.
Another thing, Maybe the rear swap bar is out of place or bent fromt accident? causing it to to do that?

Yep, they are both bent. I'm assuming they are not suppoed to like that. Can you guys verify this?

the springs are suppose to be slightly bent when it is seated in the spring pocket area due to the way the suspension swings at a angle. That is not the problem.
it is where the spring seats on both ends that will cause the height to change.

It looks like they put the front springs on all 4 corners.

Or they ordered the part number for awd or something. I bet it's the entirely wrong springs.

The only repair was done on the rear left. Everything else was untouched or at leas thats what they said.

Any chance they gave you an invoice for the work done and that shows at the parts replaced/installed?
Can you post it?
Did they do an alignment and give you the printout? Can you post that too?

Feel free to blank out any personal info on the documents...we're interested in the car, not you...lol!!! No offense!

Before looking at all the attachments, the first obvious thing is the alignment specs used were for an IS convertible from 2010 to 2015...so that's a completely different vehicle than yours. Oh, and not to mention the alignment specs are effed anyways just based on the Actual measurements.

Will continue reading...

Second and third observation...
Under Rear Suspension on the first page of repairs it says "crossmember to 05/2013" I take that to mean they installed a crossmember that fits an IS manufacturered up to 05/2013...unfortunately that would be a 2IS or IS Convertible...and not your vehicle at all. I suspect you have a 2IS rear crossmember currently installed in your vehicle.
This would explain why your vehicle looks the way it does.

On the second page of the estimate, I would question them as to what the "knee" is under Recycled Assemblies.
