?????
They seats DO automatically move back whenever you power off the car to make it easier to get out of the car.

I don't know about Japan, but at least in the US the Fsport seats do not come with memory/automatic seats.

Oh. I didn't know that.
I was just looking at the US Lexus website. The US has several packages. I don't really get why though.
There are no packages like that in Japan. Here, they're all factory orders.
You pick which model you want, and then select your options.
I picked just about every option there is. I can't imagine sitting in and getting out of this car every time with the seats not pushed back. Sorry.

I think that the problem is not in the car but in your physical training. For example, I've been driving a Lexus for about a year. I have never experienced any pain. And all because I quite often do stretch. Pay attention not to training in the gym, but to stretching. A simple former gymnast. After I quit sports, I need to stretch. So I often did yoga. Now I'm so interested in yoga that I started going to various retreats. For example, next year I'm going to go to a yoga retreat in Bali. Think about it. Maybe you should start stretching.

Funny this thread exists because the IS has an extremely high number of adjustability including lumbar support. My family's Honda Accord 2008 (which is now sold) actually had an announcement how it was causing back problems due to the lack of lumbar support which was 100% noticeable.. the IS seats are the best in the business IMO (better than Germans, Honda, Toyota, etc)

I had this exact same issue with a Q40 (rebadged G37) and could not stand it - ended up trading it after 3 months of pain.

Never had an issue with any Lexus I drove and currently driving. RX, GS, NX, IS, RC.

Try adjusting the seat I'm sure one day you'll find the comfortable setting. That hump on the AWD model works as an advantage for me. I learned to use it as a resting place of my leg.

Thread resurfacing after 3.5 years

Both in the IS and the CT my back pain due to driving went away. Chronic back problems (mostly why I ended any career in vehicle mechanics long ago).

These seats are so adjustable, if you have back issues from these cars you would have them in any car. If you need better seats like an S-Class or something then you have bigger problems.

Funny! Similar story with me, also a 2017 IS300!

But I may have adjusted it once the first day.

I love our Fsport seats, but I get out stiff after even a short drive.
Yes, something about the seats.

ive been driving a 2015 350 AWD FS for 50,000km...realized last month we have lumbar support. Use to get lower back pain on longer drives, not anymore. I’m able to sit completely normally and comfortable, no issue with the drivers side hump. I will brush up against it every now and then and realize it’s there, but I’m no way shape or form does it bother me or affect how I sit.

Would like members' inputs, particularly those who are new to a Lexus like I am. I am fairly slim and not overweight at all. I've done some search threads and a few ppl talked about the CT200 causing pain, but would love to hear from fellow IS owners.

Thanks!
My seats destroyed my back when I first got the car. Once I figured out the best position (which is not how I’d rather be sitting) my back has been fine. If I mess with the seat I’ll start getting pain very soon. My girl friend gets a lot of back pain from the passenger side seat too. I think the seats are softer than my last car (E92 M3). We never got back pain in that car. Got a lot of other **** though like surprise repairs, win some lose some.
