Are you gas and brake foot pedals level with each other?

Question Are you gas and brake foot pedals level with each other?

any one ever notice that the gas and brake pedals are level with each other? Is that the way they are supposed to be or did someone screw this up??
I have a gs4 and just got it back after some brake work and the pedals are both the same height. is that normal? I never noticed before. anyone else got this?
