2014 Lexus IS250 AWD: The TPMS warning light is NOT on. On the info display, all four tires are showing dashes -- . I have been to a local, reputable tire dealer that looked at the issue and they found the tpms sensors were emitting signals for all four tires and even programmed them into the OBD-II port. After driving the recommended time/distance (more than recommended), still no readings. I've searched the internet forever, but found nothing sutiable. The dealer wants $149 to program the sensors; however, it appears to me that this is an issue with the vehicle receiver and most likely a warranty covered issue. Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know if this might be a known issue with this model?
Look in your manual (I don't recall the procedure) on resetting the tpms. That happened to me after I swapped my wheels but forgot to do the reset procedure.
I have reset the TPMS, several times. I apologize for leaving that part out. The tire dealer was under the impression that their programming would work. I wasn't charged by them for that either, which was great.
Two quick questions:
1. Are they the OEM Lexus TPMS that came with the car?
2. When you turn the ignition on does the TPMS warning light illuminate on the dash?
They are the original TPMS and yes, the warning light does come on as with all the other instrumentation warning lights when the vehicle is first started.

Ok...so that means the warning light circuit is ok and you also have the original sensors.
If you drive the vehicle for 20 minutes or more on a single key cycle, can be stop and go city driving, or highway driving, or a mixture of both, the warning light has to come on if there are no pressure readings on the dash.
If the warning light doesn't come on and there are no pressure readings, then I would be leaning towards a display issue on the dash.
The only way to tell for sure is to access the TPMS computer and see if the pressure readings are in the data list or not. You would probably need a Techstream to do this...which is what the dealer has.

why don't you go to a different dealership and explain everything in favor of something other than the tpms itself being the problem, e.g. a problem with the dash.
Update. Finally back to the dealer - presented as an issue with the info screen. Dealer confirmed all 4 tpms are emitting signals and the codes are actually found within the data system of the car - the module is working. They think it's a broken circuit, but now indicate that they have to run a $475 electrical diagnostics to pinpoint the issue and if they find someone has been attempting to alter the the vehicle, for whatever reason, and disconnected something or broke a line, I have to pay for the diagnostics. I'm not going to do that, it's not worth it. I will continue to check the pressure monthly. I also noticed the back speaker cover was broken on one corner, so it looks like someone was poking around in it before I purchased it - it is a used car, one owner, but used. May have been a dealer loaner.
Did you ever get this fixed i have the same issue light off but only dashes on display. The snap on scanner at the shop reads the pressure. That means the TPMS are good and transmitting but only dashes at the display

No. Never fixed or diagnosed, not anyone or Lexus, even though under warranty. Lexus Corporate was no help. Pee on Lexus and Pohanka Lexus.

Are you using OEM sensors or aftermarket? With aftermarket sensors what you're describing is common.
