on top of that my warranty expires today, local dealership just called and offer me 4 more years up to 75k total miles Lexus warranty for 3478.00, after some negotiation I got it down to 2501.00. Do you guys think it is ok price?

Pole Position
lexus of escondido, california. keep in mind this was in early 2014. anyhow, lexus has banned the sale of extended warranties from out of state, though. you'd need a california address for them to send the paperwork to. have any friends in california?

dblambo - I can understand your dilemma made worst by the fact that price wise, they are almost identical. As others have said, in the end, you will be the one making the final decision and will be living with the vehicle.
A few points:
* Reliability wise - I wouldn't worry too much about either options. This is still a Lexus and a far superior product compared to most competitors.
* If power is not an important factor, then I think that the logical choice is the 200t - I mean sure there are a few extra goodies with the 350 but the biggest factor at that point is the engine. If you don't need the bigger engine, it would make sense to get a newer car with less mileage and a more aggressive appearance (if you like the F sport look) if you are paying about the same.
* I had a 350 F sport AWD (2015) without the ML system and just upgraded to the 2017 350 F sport with the ML - I do notice a difference but I wouldn't buy the vehicle solely for the system. I am an audiophile and have a very sensitive ear for music. the ML is clearer and the bass is more tight but its not an "OMG" better system.
Test drive both, go in with the most open mind to make sure you remain objective. Look also how both vehicles look as far as dents, chips, dings etc - When we get excited about getting a new car, we often forget to look at the obvious things.
Best of luck and keep us posted.

When i was car searching. I had my eyes on the 200t. I almost sign the papers until i ask to drive a 350. Big difference in power. Took the 350 n never look back. 200t will always give you more problems. Turbo lines will eventually leak and turbo will eventually go out.

yes but as a tech in the field. Turbo cars will always give more problems and ive seen it countless times over n/a cars. 350 is still the way to go.

The other day I was waiting for someone, might be a while so I shut the car down and powered up only the electronics and had my phone connected to bluetooth. In about 2 hours the car powered off and went into power conserving mode. I tried to start it but there wasn't enough juice for it to turn over, I called roadside assistance but after about 10 min I tried it again and the car started fine.
2 hours of audio bluetooth (350 w/ ML) and the battery was drained enough it won't turn over, does that sound right? I would have a dealer look at it but the last one I brought to was absolute garbage. I guess when you have no other lexus dealership around you, the standards slip real quick.
