Lexus IS250 2015 Subwoofer Set Upmy subwoofer
Any advice would be appreciated im lost trying to get my subwoofer (Microsub+ ACP112LG-TW1) hooked up with the LC2i. I connected the positive to the box w/ fuse and grounded. Tried checking the head unit but there were matching colors on the harness so we couldnt tell what were the front speakers. The rear speakers had there own colors but when i run a bulb to it the wires they all are hot. Crutchfield said since its ac not dc and that both positive and negative will always light. He said what i had L(+[Tan]&-[Pink]) R(+[Pastel Green] &-[White]) was correct, a jumper on from Lc2i 12v to power on box and ground to ground, plus have a remote start. What i thought i learned was either you have it one way or the other tap the rear or remote start.

You need to specify which stereo package you have. Do you have mark levinson, or standard audio? What year is your car? Are you tapping wires at the factory amplifier in the right rear of the trunk? For something that draws up to 30 amps under full load i would recommend going directly to the battery running atleast 10-12awg wire and fusing it with a 30 amp fuse. Also, you need to run a remote turn(switched) on from the fuse box area using a mini blade fuse tap. I used IGN no 2. DO NOT confuse it with the IGI 1,2,3 as these have to do with your airbag system. Depending on the year and stereo and located at the factory amp in the rear of your car some have a P24 plug with a switched wire so you wont need to run from he fuse box.
For smaller things like your lci i would tap into the +12v(30amp)constant wire located at your factory amp, there's two of them. Heres a thread with lots of good info to help get you through the process. on the last page, i posted an updated diagram for the non mark levinson system. hope this helps https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ut-wiring.html
