Rear Tire Size Question
Whats up guys I need some quick guidance! :-)
I'm on Verde Axis wheels and RSR downs and haven't had an issue with touching fenders etc.
I'm running 19x8.5 235/35/19 up front and 19x9.5 255/30/19 in the rear.
Need some new tires for the rear and found a pair of 255/35/19 that I like, but need to make sure nothing weird is gonna happen with a slightly bigger aspect ratio.
Also seen some members running 265's instead of 255's and wanted to see if there was anything I should be cautious of with a 265 tire, that way I can start searching for that size as well.

The 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 have relatively the same circumference...which is good.
The 255/30/19 you have now technically has a smaller circumference...but it's so small you'd never see it with the naked eye.
Personally I would go up to the 265/30/19 on the rear for two reasons; it will match the front circumference and it will ride a little nicer.
Nice wheels btw...I almost bought a set of those.

Thank you! I really love these wheels, after dropping on springs, the offset and design really helped compliment the stance that much more - especially compared to OEM F sport wheels. AND they're relatively inexpensive and knowing myself, I know I'll be scratching a wheel here and there

The 255/35/19 and 265/30/19 are basically the same circumference tire.
The difference is in the sidewall...specifically where it meets the tread.
The 265, being wider, will have a more square sidewall, so the tire will physically be a little closer to the fender (on the outside) and a little closer to the suspension (on the inside).
The 255, being narrower, will have a little more curvature to the sidewall, almost like a tiny stretch.
Of course the difference we're talking about here is literally millimeters...I doubt from 20 feet away someone could tell the difference between a 255 and 265.
