Hello all I just bought a 2015 Lexus is 350 and after awhile I noticed the e brake would not hold the car up on hills anymore I tired searching up how to adjust the cable but cannot find anything would anyone in this forum know how to adjust it I tired tightening the bolt under the e brake pedal but that doesn’t seem to be working it there any other way thanks!

 

If you take the rear wheel off, you'll see something like this:

Take the rubber grommet off, then turn the brake disc until you see the teeth of the gear, then turn it up or down to tighten/loosen.
You'll only be able to see through the small hole where the rubber grommet was.
