phone disconnecting
I have a lexus RX 350 and my samsung phone keeps disconnecting and reconnecting and has done so since December 2016. At the time the only solution the dealer had was to tell me to disconnect all phones but mine which the dealer did, but the problem still continued. The service department said that it was an "expensive fix".
My car is due for service and today (July 15) I've mentioned that the problem still continues to which I've been told that my warranty ran out July 5, 2017 and this will be on my dime. I don't think this fair as Open Road Lexus did nothing to fix the problem when I reported it and it seems that they've just waited until it is a cost incurred by myself. Pretty poor service if they stick me with a bill that they should have looked after and since my warranty ran out 10 days ago. Also I paid a hefty price for extended warranty for which I'm covered for 8 years but I'm told so sad too bad the radio/phone/bluetooth is not covered. What will lexus do in this situation???

My IS does that when my phone is in my pocket (iPhone SE). If I take out the phone and put it in the cup holder, it stays connected to Bluetooth. I haven't tried to get anyone to fix it, I'm thinking that's just how this car is
