Default curb warning

My new (used) is350 sport model has an extremely low front clearance. I do not have parking assist and am looking for after market suggestions to install some kind of device that would warn me when I am too close to a curb.

I'll be paying attention to this ... I'm about to lower my IS and don't want to wack the bumper. I back in 99% of the time but the few times I can't, I don't want to smack the bumper ...

I'm going order this setup ...

Doesn't look like the interface comes with the camera but cams are a dime a dozen ... That's a great interface.

Thank You. The Beat Sonic solution is far too complex for me. I was hoping for something a lot simpler such as a sensor that could "wirelessly" send a signal to a small (battery Powered) device that I could place somewhere on the dashboard.

Beat sonic is an nice solution, but install looks like a nightmare. Not sure if you saw the video on their site. Pls let me know if/when you'll install it. I got a 17 350 and still POed there's no park assist on the FSport. If anyone wants simpler, you can go with the Pearl set up, and install it in the front, but that's $500 and I think it makes things 10x more complicated. You'll have to start an app on your phone just to park, but at least it comes with a proximity sensor which beat sonic doesn't have.

I found something alot less intrusive and simpler to install

i looked up "wireless backup camera", i've seen a few that you can screw onto the license plate, or i imagine you could install other styled, smaller profile cameras to the front assuming you don't run a front license plate/ or you have yours off to the side.

Here are a few I found.

I have the front camera and Beatsonic switch. Switch installation itself isn't that bad about an hour job but installing front camera is difficult especially passing the wire thru engine bay firewall.

Default final solution

Thank you everyone for their suggestions. It's my first time on this Llexus) site and I find it a rewarding experience. I have concluded that the most economical and easiest install would be a cordless camera and monitor. Because I am from Ontario, I have a front license plate in the middle that would work will if I can angle the lens down to curb level.
Because of Canada, I also need a rather robust one that handles cold and snow.

It would be ideal if the screen is wireless thus saving a lot of installation and self powered as to not see power cables. I an mot sure if the camera that would be mounted on the license plate frame could be battery powered as well. If it has to be wired, can it be done somehow to a fuse box in the engine compartment. As well, everyone only mentions rear cameras. One would think it could easily be mounted on the front, but then the question of activation is one. It would always be on or at least manually turned on when I activate the screen, (the rear ones mention an automatic on if put into reverse).

Finally, it anyone can suggest a make or brand that I can either get in Canada or have shipped to Canada would be most appreciated.

warmest regards

Michael
