Default IS250 vs IS250 F-Sport

I'm in the market for a 2014 IS250 and have recently discovered a F-Sport about 700 miles from my city whose list price is only about $1K higher than the base IS250s in my area. I've tried researching on my own, but I still can't tell exactly what's different about the F-Sport compared to the regular IS250. Performance wise, they seem the same. The F-Sport has a different grill?

What exactly is different about the F-Sport? How much more expensive are they? I've seen them $4-5K higher than the base model. Is the extra cost worth it?

When you're talking IS250 to IS250 F-Sport...it's really an appearance package. Front bumper and grill, badges, wicked cool instrument cluster, nice staggered wheels, steering wheel.
Brakes, engine, and transmission are all the same between the two models in question.

So base IS250s do NOT have staggered wheels? Would they have the same tire size on all 4 wheels? (If so, you can rotate tires to extend tire life, correct?)

All non-F-Sport models have the same rims and tires front and back (referred to as a "Square setup")...so rotate away.
Having said that you can replace the F-Sport rims with a square setup if you wish to...like i did. The staggered wheels are mostly for appearance.

Anybody know if "Lapis Lazuli Metallic" is a stock 2014 IS250 color? I've only seen it on one car (the one I'm interested in buying).

Considering I can't even pronounce it...I'm going to go with no. But seriously...still no.

Thing you might be referring to Deep Sea Mica. It sort of like a navy blue (metallic). Think its only available for non- fsports.

yes it's navy blue but the seller (used car dealership) has it listed as Lapis Lazuli Metallic.

I corrected my post. For the IS, its called Deep Sea Mica. The RX, ES is called Nightfall Mica. Look like the same color imo.

They are both non F-Sport colors - Deep Sea Mica (Paint code 8V3) and Nightfall Mica (8X5).
