Cat delete vs Midpipe

The Tsudo midpipe says it's a secondary cat delete with some other stuff for $300. Is that the same as having a shop just removing the secondary cats and straight piping it?
Will I still pass emmsions?

😫 That's exactly what I'm wondering!!! I wanna delete it when I put my new diffuser on but I don't wanna shoot black smoke out my tailpipes... damnit
