Default RS*R coilovers for my 3IS

I must say I was excited when I found out RS*R would be releasing coilovers for the 3IS. I've used their suspension and exhaust systems in the past on previous cars and have always been pleased with their products.

I recently received my RS*R SPORTi coilovers.

Stay tuned for the install which should be going down this week.

These coils have not been released yet. I was lucky enough to pull some strings and get a set early. The scheduled release I believe will be between Sept-Oct.

I hope RS*R put some R&D into their product. I had a suspension system a few years ago on an old car and it felt awesome yet I dealt with some sagging over time in the rear. I saw some stuff they did on the GS Fsport and it looked good. so good luck. Def would like to see a review

You should see them on the market by months end including the black-i coilover setup.

Nice man , were you able to check if the RSR coilovers would be able to retain the Adaptive Variable Suspension feature?

Any coilover system deactivates the sport + mode in a Lexus.Sport plus adjusts the suspension and since a coilover kit replaces the entire suspension you lose sport +. If you want to keep sport + you can change springs only.

The Vossen project GS has the RS-R coil overs as its not a F sport. Handles like its on rails. My wife's GS F-sport has RS-R springs so she can keep the Sport plus mode. I would have done coils

Which one has a more comfortable ride ? Thinking of just doing springs as the flexibility of going from normal to sport + and back again is one of the main reasons i got the 3IS F-Sport

Just do the springs. Lexus engineers went through a lot of testing for Sport+, sporty handling yet still comfortable ride. We're just sucker for lowered look but ride comfort will never the same as Lexus intended once you change them to coils.
