The green TRD button looks good with your interior It matches doesn't look out of place at all!
I posted a couple pictures above in my garage in the RCF.. Lol
I'm still not happy though I desoldered the bluish LEDs from the switch and soldered in white LEDs. Now the switch is the same color as the gauge cluster which is nice. I don't think I can get it to match 100% with the rest of the interior lighting but that's just because Lexus uses some weird filter and not normal LEDs.
But I'm okay with that because my clock illuminates different from the rest of the gauges The right speedometer matches the clock but doesn't match the rest of the buttons with the interior. My illuminated door sills light up a bluish tint. seems like Lexus doesn't have their **** together when it comes to matching everything for some reason..lol.
I should be done piddling around with this here in about a day then I'll put everything back together and take better pictures.
I do various led stuff so I had a bunch of stuff laying around. I'm not sure how long ago I have had these and I can't find a receipt or anything for it but normally depending on the size of the smd led, you simply look for a color filter cap or something along those lines. You can get them in various colors to change the shade/huge/color of the led output without actually changing the led.
I also found some leds that I have that I am going to try and and solder onto the board here this weekend. I want to play around with the idea of possibly having red. We'll see though. I'm at work super late tonight for a server migration so it's not going to get done today or tomorrow. If we get snow that they are calling for hopefully I can stay home for Friday and start early :-)

Thanks for the info. I'll look into some color filters.
I ordered another push button. This one is billet aluminum. Looks really nice. See pictures below (not mine, don't have it yet). I should get the button hopefully next week. I'll update once it comes in. Machined out of aluminum, and then has the F logo. Three small holes at the bottom to let light through. I'm on the fence if I like that. Ideally I'd love for the button to light up but this might be fine in all reality. I will play around with which one I like. Either the Meso custom's that lights up pictured in previous posts or this billet one.
I think the touch and feel of the metal button will be super nice. Plus I was assured that this button is identical in spec to the Lexus button and it's not recessed in anyway. As you can see in the picture it looks to be true. One thing nice about the three small holes to let the light through is when I desolder the bluish ones from the factory and use white, it will probably look really good, just with three white dots of light. You could change out the LEDS to any color. I have blue, green, yellow, pink, orange, red, white, warm white, UV..etc. I'm going to play around with it and see what looks the coolest.
To my knowledge there isn't any other metal buttons available. I believe on FB they are trying to get other designs and colors possible but it depends entirely on the community and what they'd want. The push button is around $50.

that aluminum button looks sleek for sure. I just installed my MESO customs button today. looks awesome. thanks for your input on it Nigel.
No problem. I got a bunch of buttons now coming in so I'm trying to decide lol.
Post some pictures!
Update on what all buttons look like. My aluminum isn't right because apparently something changed with Lexus. in the later years, so my button is very recessed, more so than the cheap Chinese button i had that isn't pictured. Working with manufacture to see if they can revise it for later years.

Hi! I’m curious as to which start button you settled on. I’m also looking into replacing the start button on my 2016 RX F Sport. For me, it boils down to the OEM LC500 button or the Meso button. Thanks!

I still very much like the meso button. It added just a little bit of color in the dash. The only annoying part which is NOT the fault of the switch cover is that Lexus uses blueish leds. So since all aftermarket buttons or housings are either translucent or clear is that the blueish light shines through the button and if you are ocd like me then you have a blueish tinted button instead of the natural lexus white led light. Lexus push switches have a filter in the plastic that filters out the blue light and makes it white. If you hold a flashlight onto the OEM Lexus cap it's actually yellow light. But the blue LEDs get filtered from the yellow of the back of the switch thus making white light.
Everyone I brought into my RCF and showed them all the buttons, they all unanimously said they liked the LC500 button. Just looks nice. It's still 100% platic button. I don't know why I keep reading people stating it's metail, it most definitely is not metal at all nor is the trim ring. But it's a nice looking button. You can get them on ebay for around $140 which is fair. Paying dealer prices of over $250+ is ridic.
This is what I settled with after trying out a few options. I really wanted to get rid of the chrome bezel ring but I also wanted to go with a red start button. This will do for now. Thank you for your help, nigel821!

So I’ve hunting down a nicer looking push start button for my 2013 ES350. Having finally found out where the concave button comes from(lc500). My big question is would swapping the button and trim or just the button itself work on my car. Are all the push buttons the same size or do they very. Are the general plastic clips in the same spot on all the button and board tube. I know this thread is from middle 2021 but if anyone is still active any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Pretty sure this should be plug and play for you.
Your 2013 doesn't have an LED to show power when it's on right? What's the front of your button look like?
From a quick search the back of your push button switch should look like this:
The LC500/UX..etc. Looks like this: Which is the same:
You shouldn't have to do anything other than unplug your ignition switch and pop the entire assembly out, and click the new one in and plug the harness into it.
My push start does light up as per standard(I believe its standard). Id be shocked if a car didn't have a glowing push to start. That's awesome that they run the same connection. The front of my push to start is the same as thew one that is in your above picture all the way to the left. I've tried a few other custom push to start buttons and just never really enjoyed them. There was something about the concave button that just looks so nice to me. I'd been hunting for a few months with no luck on info then this page suddenly shows up. Thank you so much on the photo showing the back of the assembly.

What I meant by LED is does your button look like this first one? If it does the LC500 button will not work since the model with the LED up top uses a different harness.
If your push start looks like this: Then it should be plug and play.
The concave button is much cleaner looking to me for sure. I like it. As much as I would like a red button in the interior. Everyone I showed the LC500 vs a red button all said the LC500 looks 100% better and fit with the interior. The red button just didn't work. I still like them. Would be nice if the LC500 had a red button that looked identical but can't really beat OEM fit, finish, and quality!
