Opinions of this L/Certified 2014 IS 250?
Hello everyone,
Soon to be owner here and I'm looking to get this L/Certified 2014 Lexus IS250.
http://www.lexussandiego.com/Vehicle...-CA/2959716963
$28,346 with only 7,555 miles.
Carfax is clean and I checked it out in person and the condition of the car is amazing.
Do you mind sharing your opinions?
Also are there any problems that I should be aware of, this being the first year model in the 3rd generation were there any common issues?
I'm frequenting the forums and still taking in a lot of information, just taking in as much as I can before maybe pulling the trigger.
This seems to be one of the best deals I can find in San Diego area.
Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciate, thank you!

I have had a 2014 IS250 for about 1.5 years now and completely satisfied - bought it used for $27,600 with 12k miles from local Lexus dealer. I like the silly smoothness of the V6, ride is very comfortable, and the build quality has been excellent - no issues. Some people complain about the power of the V6, but I much prefer the smoothness over the more powerful 2.0 turbo engine - my wife has an NX with that engine and not nearly as refined noise wise. I get about 25 mpg in the city and as high as 34 on the highway. The only thing I was not happy with was the OEM Pirelli tires. - they were shot after 15k miles - replaced with new set of Michelins.
If you pull the trigger, make sure they take care of the service campaign for the rear wheel arches before you drive away - had mine done last week and one had to be resealed.

Thank you for the advice, besides the rear wheel arches do you have any other tips for the other issues such as carbon buildup?
