is250 15 with 33k miles - questions
Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forums here. I am looking into buying my first Lexus. My wife has a 4runner that is 9 years old and the thing still runs like a champ. I have also owned a 2012 Acura TSX which was great, but I have always been interested in Lexus.
So, I am thinking of buying a CPO IS 250 2015 with 33k miles AWD. We get a good amount of snow where I live, so I definitely need AWD. It is for sale at $26,500. It looks like a pretty solid deal. I am going to try get it for less, of course, but is $26,500 a pretty decent deal? KBB says it is, but I am sure you guys will know. Also, it was a previously leased vehicle. Good or bad? Thoughts?
Have the carbon build up issues been fixed in the 2015 IS250? I do a LOT of driving for work, so many miles will be put on it. Probably 15-18k miles a year. Can I expected to get at least 6-7 years out of it? I would have no problem taking it in for routine maintenance, oil changes, etc.
Thanks so much for your help. Have a great day!

You'll have to confirm for sure but I think Lexus solved the carbon thing by including port injection with direct injection to get some fuel cleaning effect. so you should be good. from what i see here, avoid 14 model.

The 250 does not have the port injectors. Only the 350 and the 200t. The newer 250 from I think 2011 and up has the updated rings to reduce the chance of blow-by.
