Default Mod Ideas and Input

My 2014 IS250 F-SPORT is pretty much stock and I'm slowly doing more stuff to it. So far I have added Lexus Logo Projectors and that's really...I've been looking for some input for:

- Spoilers
- Black Roof, CB, or Stock
- Plate Relocator
- Brake Caliper Colors

If you have a White F-SPORT, I'd be interested to see it, please post!

Its a replacement for the welcome lights on the doors. I bought them from ebay for about $30. Its plug and play and pretty bright

The ebay product number is 232169341723. I've had them for quite some time now and it lasted through doors shutting, rain, snow and its still in perfect shape.

Welcome Tristan.

Like the Lexus projectors...I might add that to my list.

The items you were asking about:
  • Spoiler - personally I like the small understated ones that 3M tape to the trunk lid...and cost effective. The TRD one is pretty nice too IMO.
  • Roof - Black is a classic mod...CB would be nice if you were putting other CB on the horizontal surface of the car...i.e. a CB roof with a CB trunk spoiler will look good...just like an RC F.
  • Plate relocator - definitely must. Tow hook on the left front is the go to spot.
  • Caliper colors - with a white car pretty much sky is the limit. Consider if you plan to put wheels on, the color of the wheels will probably dictate what will look better on the calipers.

Thanks. I'll prob end up getting these. Do you have them for the front and rear doors or just front?

I have them for the front doors only. My 3IS doesn't have rear door courtesy lights.

I'm not sure about the fitment. I want to say that the light should fit because it still fits for the 2016 GS but I could be wrong. The best bet is to call a dealer and ask for the part number of the courtesy light for the 2016 IS200t F-SPORT. If the number matches Part# 81230 30200, it will fit. I know the production date for these ended in 2015 so there may be a chance that its different.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I was looking at a lip spoiler from DAB Spoilers and I like the fit. Also, I saw these blue calipers with F-SPORT logo which looks amazing paired with the white paint. it was off someone's 3IS in the Build Forums. By the way, I just realised you're in Richmond Hill! I go to YorkU so I hope I see your car around the area lol

this is cool but is there a mod like this that can attach to the light on the side view mirror, this way that light shines when you unlock the door instead of opening it?

Are you talking about the puddle lights ? Car should already come with it.

When I walk up to the door w/ key fob, the lights come on.

You are right but im hoping that light can be replaced with a light that projects the logo on the floor. I think the new Jaguars do this too.

I've never come across projector puddle lights. I believe it is only large enough to fit a T10 led. At that lens size from that height/throw position, your logo will look large and blurry if projected from the mirror. This seems like something that would have to be designed by Lexus

Yes, I believe you can do that. Same kind of thing like what the OP did with the door panel light.
