Default Thinking about buying Lexus IS

Thinking about buying a Lexus IS - what's the MPG realistically on this car and what are some pros and cons I should be looking out for?

Thanks

I have an IS350, I do a lot of freeway driving. Avg 23-24 mpg combined. All depends on how to drive as well. If you got a lead foot, you would see less mpg.

I get better MPG than some 250/200t at times lol

I would say 21 22 on the 350 is pretty common for me, 50/50 . If i drive really hard i'll hit 19.

I think i get best gas mileage for my IS350 compare to 2006 Acura TL, 2007 Acura CSX, 2012 Camry, 2001 Toyota Solara, 2005 Nissan Altima, the guy at work he drives Acura CSX from his home to work 15km, from my home to work 30km, only home to work = his tank lasted him 6 days, mine lasted 8 days, compared to my own car TOyota Solara and Acura TL wow my IS350 is much much better, also the maintenance is like Toyota Camry SOlara or Acura TL, you should buy it.

IS250 F-Sport owner here.
The lowest MPG I've gotten in Sport Mode (from stepping hard to just enjoy driving) is 18-19.
The highest MPG I've had is about 28-30 in Normal Mode. ---> Acceleration under 3-3.5k RPM
It really depends on how heavy your foot is

Here are some quick pros/cons
Pros:
  • Great look inside and out. Aggressive front grille and LFA-inspired instrument cluster
  • Smooth gear change. Good road feel.
  • Seats are extremely comfortable. The best seats I've sat in.
  • Mark Levinson stereo system is awesome. Great clarity.
Cons
  • Navigation is sluggish
  • Voice control is unusable (At least to me)
  • Awkward cup holder location
  • No sunglasses holder
Hopefully this helps!
