Thinking of Trading IS250
This is my first post since joining and really like this site/forum. I'm thinking of trading in my 2015 IS250 fsport on a 2016 GS350 AWD after only 6mths. My problem is I'm having a problem exiting the car. Silly reason I know., but to be honest when test driving it, I didn't see it as an issue, but now it's more awkward. I'm not a big guy, 5'9" 190lbs, so I don't know what gives. Anyone else have an issue with egress? The GS350 has 16k km and a lease is 400/bi weekly for 48months with a residual of $22k at the end of the lease. What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance for your input.

I struggle slightly with the egress at 5'10" 225lbs. Thankfully I don't have a gut or forget it, I'd by sending this message from the drivers seat.
If the tilt steering would go up another inch or so I'd be set.
The GS is a total pimp ride and sweet to drive...no one would blame you if you jumped ship.
There may be some shunning, but you'll get over it...lol!

Getting into my IS200t via the old way (right foot first, slide into seat, bring in left foot) is a problem for me as I’m 5-10 at 240 lbs. But having just turned 80, I now seat with rump first with both feet still outside, and then turn and put both feet in. Of course I do the reverse getting out.

Good choice, i'm 5'11" but i have no problem getting in and out of my IS350 probably i have the telescoop power steering wheel and memory seat. IS to GS is like day and night, GS interior is gorgeous, plenty of leg room and handling is awesome.

I'm 5'11 & 175lbs. Sorta average if you would say.
The seating position of my IS is comfortable enough for me to drive. But for longer drives, my body aches in places. (Think cause I used to do sports my joints are Baaaaaaaaad)
And when I get into the car, I have to slide in. When I getting out, I pull myself up and "levitate" out of the seat lol ...to try and not crease the bolsters as much

I never really had an ingress/egress issue with my IS, though my GS is definitely easier. I'm 5'10", 155 lbs.

The GS F Sport (and luxury) seats are incredible. Best I've ever had, though I had no complaints about my IS seats either, but the GS seat is 16 way adjustable, which is very nice.

Well I pulled the trigger on the 2016 GS350 AWD with Executive Package, and I love it. The wife originally gave me a "warm" time (lets just change that hell) about changing the IS after only 6mths, but after only 2 days of ownership she loves it. She even says its like a married man's ride LOL. I will post some picks once I get it cleaned up after the snow clears.Thank you guys for your input, and I will continue to visit this forum, as this was my first.

I like the lowness and tightness of the seats, but I'm even thinner than you are. I can see why bigger people would not like it, but for me, it's like getting sport seats without having to pay extra for them (IS350 "standard").
