Splitter rod install

On the F sport grill, where can I install splitter rods? I've seen very few 3IS's with splitters and where they have the rods it doesn't seem like it'll hold very well. Any ideas??

You can go through the grille and mount to bumper bar behind.
But i think splitter rods will look really tacky on any Lexus, probably reason why no one has them.
