Brighter HID Lights..?!
So i have the Base model headlights (HID), the bulb is a bit yellowish for my taste so i want to upgrade to maybe a 5k/6k, cant really decide tbh since both Osram and Philips colors vary. I prefer these more well known brands, none of that fake stuff - I dont want my lights to die while driving LOL... I have seen this happen first hand in my friends car as we were driving and she cheaped out.
Any suggestions on which ones to go for? So far I see Osram Xenarc Cool Blue (CBI), Osram Xenarc Night Breaker, Philips Xenon Vision, and Philips Ultinon. Pictures would be appreciated! Honestly blue or white, doesnt mind me as long as I can see better
- Since my car already has HID, would i need a ballast at all? Or do i just buy the bulbs and direct plug and play?

The Ultinon or the Night Breaker. Unfortunately I can't buy the Ultinon in Germany..they was my first choice (6700k). The Nightbreaker are bright and white (no blue pure white). So I get some 6700k from Konig. I like more the blueish look

Osram CBI hands down. I had the philips ultinon and it was more BLUEish so yeah it looks cool from the outside but being around 6200k-6700k you lose more light output compared to Osrams 5500k which gives it this nearly pure white look. Pretty much you see better while driving with Osram cbi.
Do note that I've noticed the OEM light shoots more wide while OSRAM and philips do not shoot as wide but much further and brighter on my opinion.

It literally takes 10 minutes at most once you figure out one side. I wouldn't pay anyone more than $10 to install it for you (if you end up going that route)

I would vouch for Osram's Cool Blue Intense. It doesnt make it whiter. but not pure white. More like warm white but brighter than the stock Osrams. I have it for 2 years now, am really happy with it.
