Default IS-F Sport steering

Hello, new member here

Am in the market for a used IS-F Sport and am wondering if there is any way to tell whether a a 2014/15 car has the optional variable ratio steering from the paperwork (or in a package of options), or whether you just have to drive them and guess? I have gone through this site and there seems to be mention that it only also is on cars with the electric steering wheel adjustment, and somewhere else that it was only fitted to RWD cars.

Advice appreciated

From what I know, VGRS is available only on the IS 350 RWD F Sport. I haven't had the chance to test a car with it, as I have only driven AWD models. Confirm with the seller.

Curious, why are you asking about this specific feature?

If its an F-sport, the steering column will have electric adjustment while the non-VGRS cars will have manual adjustment.

This is the correct answer. I have a 350 F-Sport w/ VGRS. One of the few out there (relatively speaking) that have a powered steering column.

Thanks for your responses, will check the steering column arrangements.

In answer to the query about why I am particularly interested, after many years of MX-5 ownership I am just a bit obsessed with steering feel (probably a little irrational about it actually).
