Im on s budget but looking to make the car louder. Ideas on what to take off? (Straight pipe) or cheapish mufflers or axle back?

Several people have mentioned the great satisfaction of removing the mufflers

Muffler delete. Incredible sound w/little to no droning. $120'ish w/custom tips.

deleting the res and cat won't do anything if you keep the stock mufflers on. Learn from my mistake.

I am also considering doing the muffler delete. Do you guys know if local muffler shop can unbolt the mufflers and replace with bolted on pipe so that the mufflers can be put back on if needed?

Unfortunately stock mufflers aren't "bolt on's", they're welded so unbolting them isn't an option. They will simply cut the pipe behind the muffler inlet and weld a new pipe in its place. The back tips will be welded onto that pipe. If you needed to return the vehicle to the dealership you would simply reverse that process before delivering the vehicle back…

I bought two burnt tips, two Vibrant resonators and had a local exhaust shop make me a custom one. Shop charged me $185 to remove both stock resonators and weld in what I brought to them.

It could be the 4- cylinder turbo but my V6 sounds much different. I didn't touch the resonator but did delete the mufflers. Mine has a much deeper/ throatier sound.
