Default Michelin/ Bridgestone combination

Hi everyone!
So I own a 2014 IS 250 F sport RWD for about 4 months now and need to replace my front tires (rear are still in great shape).

After a lot of research I found that the Michelin Pilot super sport are a great tires compare to the Bridgestone Turanza ER33 that I have on them now.

My question, should it be a problem to put new Michelin in front while keeping the old Bridgestone in rear?

P.s I would put Michelin in rear once they wear out..

Thank you for your help!

you'll have too much grip in the front!! if i were you, id just get the Bridgestones then replace all them once the rear wears out!

the OE tires are ****! you'll have a lot of grip in the front and nothing in the rear lol!!

How can RWD vehicle do that? Is it weight balance issue? Or suspension issue? Shouldn't
new tires go to the rear?

Most tire shops will put the new tires on the rear and if you are keeping the staggered configuration, that means they won't do it. It's a stability issue when the rear wheels have less traction than the front and this would be particularly bad for RWD. The stock tires are garbage so it won't hurt to replace them early. I'd strongly recommend replacing all four.

yeah, most tire shops will place the new tires in the rear, unless you have a staggered setup. but like the OP posted, he wants to install PSS....he'll have a lot more grip in the front!

i would just replace all 4 tires now with PSS

Thanks guys for the fast responses.
I am going to keep the current setup (staggered) and really all 4 tires are in good condition as far as tread but one in the front got hit and you can really see the inside metal area..
And I know I can't replace only one so I decided to replace both and keep the other good one as a replacement.

Now you guys suggest to replace all 4, I'll be bummed to do so only because of one bad tire.

Thinking about getting the same ER33 for the front and wait until they all wear out about the same time.

Any other creative solutions?

Do yourself a favor and do not purchase ER33's. They really are some of the worst tires that have ever hit the road. There is no such thing as having "too much grip in the front" like other have said, unless you're flooring it into every turn...
I would get the Michelins for the fronts right now (make sure they're the same size as factory) and when you can, replace the rears with Michelins. You'll have no issues. You're welcome.
