IS350 are not that popular and tough to sell, and look exactly like their IS200t counter part. So many people would just opt for the lesser engine.

I work at Lexus, and I have not seen a 2017 IS350 either, I rarely saw 2016s as well.

 

I'm seeing the same thing locally. 13 available and every one of them is an IS Turbo. The most expensive is MSRP of 45,000 with Nav, no ML; when I got my 350 in 2013 the MSRP was 48,000 with Nav & ML. I guess I would have to order a 350 if I were in the market.
I just don't think I could bring myself to pay close to 350 price for a 4 banger.

 

The only thing you get with the 350 is better handling and a faster car to 60 (~1 second). Is that worth a $3k premium? I think most consumers would say no.

 

No, I think you are missing my point. I also watched the 2016 IS 350 and JM Lexus almost always had at least a few sometimes a dozen IS 350 mostly the F sport but they still had them. Now for 2017 all they are showing in new inventory are the 2017 turbo's. Something is not right. It's been several months now and JM Lexus the #1 volume dealer in the US and they have no 2017 IS 350's in new inventory. Not even 1 and I've been checking there website almost weekly. Something is strange.

 

No Mark Levinson, either. VGRS w/ auto tilt is nice, too. I was speaking for myself, not most consumers.

 

The 200t can also be ordered with ML. I too would pick the 350 every time as it's just barely fast enough for me to like the car. The 200t is just too slow for me.

 

For nearly all years of the IS, more people have bought the 250 and 200t compared to the 350. The extra power isn't worth it to most people. It's the same reason you see so many BMW 320i and 328is on the road compared to 335i or 340is.

 

@Xanadu350, to answer your question, this may help. I got my 2017 IS 350 F Sport from Lexus of Bellevue late December, most probably the largest Lexus dealer in the PNW. The 200T and 300 were the first batches shipped to the US, and the 350's were the last of the IS range and those started trickling in a bit after that. I wanted a RWD which they located 3 in CA and AZ, and within 24hrs, two were spoken for and I picked the third. My personal opinion, the 200T and 300 came in first and in larger numbers as these are perceived mainstream, whereas the 350F whilst desirable, was more of a niche, and hence trickled in smaller numbers. I think you'll still see more 350 F batches hitting dealers soon, but the first wave seems to have been mostly picked up before they even hit showroom logs.

 

with the release of the 17s, has anyone got any update on the Fsport lowering springs being available and if it fits the 14-16 is AWD model?

Hey guys. I'm planning to buy a 2017 IS200t. The MSRP for my model (including my desired packages) is around $43K. The invoice price is approximately $39.5K.

Can someone give an idea as to what might be considered a good deal for this model with this price range?

+1 on this, I always wanted more power when purchasing the next vehicle, but what I discover was that from my 16+ years of driving and owing about 5-6 different cars. My own driving habit speaks volume. So I settled in on an IS300 over the IS350

 

The 2017 is300 f sport comes with the adaptive suspension!?!? And all those safety features for 800 bucks more!?!? Maybe I should have waited lol. Saw one today. The 17s look a little more stanced from the rear. Maybe it's the diffuser. No sport + mode but will tighten dampers.

do the 2016 models do anything else besides throttle response and tranny shift points when engaging sports mode/eco/normal? Feel like it doesn't tighten steering like some say.

 

The IS300 doesn't come with AVS (adjustable variable suspension). It comes standard with the sport suspension. If you look on the website, the variable suspension is for the IS350 only (its in the details of the IS300 with that disclaimer...Lexus website is a hot mess).
