Default Steering Wheel Scratch?

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is normal wear and tear, or maybe a scratch.. Can it be fixed with leather conditioner or something?

Its on the bottom of the steering wheel.

You probably caused that by your pants or belt getting in and out of the vehicle.

I have the same scratch. Someone at dealer did it because it's been like that since I got the car.

Had the same issue. bought the car brand new in 2014. Saw the scratch within 3 months or so. Told the dealership and they replaced the whole steering wheel for me.

I just saw it recently, I don't know when it got scratched. It might be my belt, but I do get in/out very carefully. =\

And I doubt the dealer will replace the whole steering wheel for something this minor. I can't even see it, since its on the bottom.

I'm planning to buy some leather conditioner, like Lexol, to prevent it from further cracking.

Suggestions?
