So this weekend, my friend got a loaner Mercedes C300 that had those illuminated Mercedes logos on the grille. First time seeing it up close, thought it looked cool and unique. That got me intrigued and looking into LED Lexus emblems. After doing a little browsing online, I found a couple illuminated Lexus emblems, however most clearly looked aftermarket, and although some looked stock, none of them had that glossy acrylic solid finish. I was wondering if anyone knows of any illuminated emblems that looks like the stock one found on the grille, or if its even possible to illuminate a solid emblem. Also, if anyone has swapped their stock emblem with an illuminated one, can you post pictures? Most of the ones I found were of the rear emblem. I would like to see how they look on the front. Thanks.

Also, what do you guys think about the chrome surround of the spindle grille being illuminated at night? Got the idea from Mazda's illuminated grille, and I thought would look badass if Lexus ever made it an option. Well, how I pictured it in my head it looked badass, not sure how it would look in person though.

 

buy the black pearl emblem then run after market light to illuminate it. wire that with your horn right behind the emblem simple

 

i think the illuminated mercedes emblem looks tacky.

I don't know. I kinda like how Mercedes has that option. It's different and subtle.

 

Might look good on a C-Class... I've only seen it in person on the MB SUVs and the emblems on the SUVs are huge. It looks a touch obnoxious on those but might be far more subtle on the cars.
