Default Which IS350?

I'm new here and I will be getting a is350 F. I'm trying to decide the differences between the 2014-2016. I know between 14 and 15 there are slight changes to the front bumper but that's all I could find. Is there any reason to get one year over the other?
Thanks.

If the 15 isn't much more, i would get the 15.

W/ the F-Sport package you will get cooled seats, the 14 didnt have this.

You won't have to deal with potential battery drain issue on the 14's. (fixable under warranty)

There are minor interior material changes, the center stack won't have as many finger prints, and the nav screen won't have de-lamination issues (fixable under warranty)

the nav computer / entertainment system is allegedly faster.

In manual mode S+, it won't shift automatically for you once you get to redline, like some of the 14's do.

Depending on how much money you would save, the 14 might be a better buy, due to the depreciation curve. Minor issues aside, these cars have been bulletproof.

I did not know there was slight changes to the front bumper. But the 15 has cooled seats, which I would prefer more than 14 even though some members reported the fan blows air pretty weak and seats cool unevenly.

That's great to hear. Thanks for your input. Seeing as how I live in Texas and the summers suck I'll look for the 15's due to the cooled seats. Thanks again

I would agree they're weak and only blow ambient air. So whe the car's been sitting in the sun all day it will feel like a hot air blow drier.

If you have the luxury package. The f sport doesn't come with cooled seats that year.

I had a 2014 250 F Sport and it did not have cooled seats. My 2016 IS350 F-Sport does have cooled seats. I would say bigger motor, then options. I don't need the cooled seats, but I leave mine on 3 and I am comfortable.

I didn't notice the headlight washers gone for Canada. I have seen them on the cars since 14 and also had the brochures which showed it.

Ok got it. Just trying to see if a 14 would be worth it. I've seen them for around 28-32k
