Default Secondary Cat delete?

Has anyone done it? Or would it be better going with a midpipe. I'm just wondering because a delete would be simple and fast. The midpipe would be more clean and would look better. Would the results be similar though?

The only issue you will have is finding a shop that will remove it and weld in a straight pipe. Most shops will only replace a cat with another from my experience. All midpipes for the 3is replace the cat with a straight pipe(invidia, tsudo) or a resonator(Ark midpipe).

I would recommend just going with a midpipe because the most restrictive part of the exhaust besides the mufflers is the hybrid crushed H-pipe on our stock midpipe. All aftermarket midpipes come with a true H-pipe(tsudo,invidia) or a X-pipe (Ark).
