I've had my 2015 IS350 for over a year and have had no problems with making phone calls until now. I'd push the button on the steering wheel and say "call XXX on mobile" … it would call the person, no problems. Yesterday I tried to make call to same person and it kept saying "pardon". Ended up dialing manually on my phone through car speakers and it worked then. I have restarted my iPhone, unsynced and resynced via bluetooth but still does not work. Any ideas on how to fix this?

 

Are there other background sounds that have changed? For example, you are driving with the windows down or running the A/C on high? Generally speaking, you want to keep the background sounds to a minimum and speak clearly with your head facing forward or towards the center of the dash. The microphone is located in the overhead console.

 

Thank you for the reply sp33dy. All is the same as before. I never have my windows down ... aircon all the time here in Hawaii I did update my software on both car and phone this afternoon and all seems to be happy now. Again, many thanks for your reply.
