Default Lease on 3IS

Hi CL, I'm sorry for yet another lease thread. I would just like some input on what you guys think on the terms of the lease I was offered.

2016 IS200t F-Sport, Blind Spot, No Nav
MSRP: 42,410
Selling Price: 39,810
Money Factor: .00038
Months: 48
Miles: 15,000
Residual: 51%

Monthly Payment: $442.11

Does anyone see this as a good deal?

Looks like you're taking a fairly big hit on the residual. Do you really need a 48mo lease? If not, the numbers might look better with a 36mo term.

Thanks for your input! I'll find out about fewer months and give an update.

Check that thread. People are getting pretty good deals on is200t 36month leases.

They definitely are getting some pretty sweet deal. So at 36 months I got quoted $455. I am trying to factor in the F-Sport and the mile limit after looking at those other deals.

For the same price/month you can get the 350.

Are you far away from others lexus dealers?? I drove 2 hours to get the best deal, my local dealer couldn't believe it and couldn't match it.

Hey guys, just an update. I finally got a new IS200t! I was able to get $4,794 off MSRP at a dealership about 3 hours from where I live, which I'm pretty happy about. Thank you guys for the advise, I think I did pretty well for my first lease.

Nice, congrats! Definitely post pictures if you're able to. Is that your first 350?

Never put any money down on a lease. I put nothing down and pay 450/month for my 350. 12k miles/36 months. Sticker was 49,800.00.

tell them thanks but you will be working with another dealer.

Yes I've been in love with the IS since 06 and I come from a Lexus family (employees). Really tried to get the rc but wasn't able to afford it with insurance. No pics but I'm having all the chrome and roof wrapped gloss black this weekend and ordered an alpine type r 12" sub and amp 👍🏻

Does your state require you to pay the full sales tax upfront? If so, that is probably a factor in the higher than expected payments. That said, do you know what the MSRP and Money Factor are? Something else isn't right - In the first scenario ($5k down + $505.06/mo), you're paying a total of $23,182.16 over the life of the lease, which is equal to $644/mo with nothing down - nearly $200/mo more than what others are paying!
