Default Wiper settings

I can't believe I'm asking this but how do you use the intermittent wiper setting? I think my is defective because it never works. And yes I've read the manual but I want to be sure before i go back to the dealer and not look like a moron.

I almost exclusively use the rain-sensing mode (push the button on the end of the stalk and a green led illuminates). This is actually the first car I can say that it actually works. Way better than the rain-sensing mode in our RX2G or either of our RX3Gs.

Just the clarify.. F Sport models don't get the auto rain sensing wipers right?

There no button at the end of my stalk on my Fsport. Guess no auto rain senor?

For the most part, F Sport models don't have rain sensing wipers. I do know that rain sensing wipers were added into the F Sport 3 package for 2016 in Canada though.

Sorry, it's quite possible they are part of the luxury package on my 2014 non-f--sport.

Hi
On the wiper switch you have a ring witch can be twisted up and down. When the mark on this ring is in lower position than you have shortest time between cycles of wiping. If the ring is up cycle is shortest one. Try to switch it to intermittent and play wit this ring than you will find the best intermittent cycle for you <br >

OR just Rain-X the windshield and you'll almost never need to use your wipers! Avoids the ugly wiper lines left on the windshield!

So do you pull the switch up to the top position to have the intermittent wipers always on?
