"The Lexus IS 200t is due for a mild refresh for the 2017 model year. Unfortunately, official details on what this will entail have not yet been released. That being said, Lexus typically makes minor tweaks to front and rear bumper designs at this stage.
Knowing that the car was introduced in late 2015 for the 2016 model year, we expect no major changes to features and equipment. Expect it to continue to be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 241 hp with 258 lb-ft of torque. In the current car, the engine helps the IS 200t net a respectable 28 mpg overall based on 22 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.
An official release date has not yet been announced, but based on the model's typical release cycle, we currently expect it to go on sale in fall 2016. The car's next full redesign is not expected until at least 2019 for the 2020 model year."

Several mistakes within this thread. Current car was introduced for the 2014 model year, not 2016.
This will also be a refresh or facelift, not a redesign. Redesigns are completely new all-around.
