Default New White IS300 Lease--Clear Bra?

On Saturday I leased a 2016 IS300 white with parchment interior. I'm so excited! Went to Kansas City to get it and they threw me an unreal offer. Just unreal.

Anyways, I want to keep it looking like brand new. I'd like to get a clear bra, but can you put a clear bra on a lease?

Also, those clear bras are tough to keep clean as I know dirt collects on the edges and shows really bad on white. Should I still get one? I do quite a bit of freeway driving, so I'm going to get rock chips if I don't...

Dealer said not to worry about rock chips, because when I return it or swap it out the rock chips are Lexus' problem not mine.

Advice?

Congrats on the car. I agree with what the dealer said. If you were going to keep the car long term I'd definitely recommend a clear bra. On a lease I don't think that I could justify the expense.

its a lease, it's not exactly "your" car. as the others said, if you were to keep the car, then I would definitely look for a clear bra to put on. otherwise, just keep the car in good shape for when you return it for the next owner.

Like everyone said, unless you're planning to buy the car after the lease, don't waste your money.

I have Opti Coat on mine even though I'm leasing. That's because I got a really good deal on it. And I'm 50/50 on purchasing it after my lease.

It's really up to you, OP, if you want to get a clear bra, lease or not.

The only way you'll keep your car in pristine condition given you do quite a bit of freeway driving (as I do) and alleviate those rock chips is getting a clear bra. Rock chips will look like crap especially on a white car. If you have money to spare, just do the bumper. That's the part on my car that primarily takes hits.

If you know for sure you aren't keeping the car, don't. But, if you're not 100% sure and if change your mind and decide to buy it at the end of the lease, you'll wish you'd gotten the clear bra.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I went ahead and had the full bumper partial hood, front fender and rearview mirrors done in Xpel Ultimate. It looks amazing and has a warranty. Now to hope it doesn't show dirt on the line too bad.. Thanks for all of the advice!
