Default Does IS350 AWD have any dry circuit racing advantages?

Or is the IS350 AWD merely for driving in snow?

It helps in high speed cornering as it will sense the difference in wheel spin and adjust to "straighten " the car out. That's it AFAIK

Just wondering if Lexus should make an IS AWD competitor to the C450 AMG 4-matic?

Don't let the "450" confuse you. It's just a marketing term. The C450 still has a 3L twin turbo engine and puts out about 360 HP. It's a bit more than the IS350, but I wouldn't say they're super far off especially when considering price. That said, I'd love Lexus to create a more powerful version of the IS. If they did, I'd sell my IS350 and get that instead. Hopefully with the C450 and the Q50S/Q60S out now, Lexus has a bit more pressure on them to release their new turbo V6.
